For this Brussels Talks #10, we are happy to invite David Helbich (1973, Berlin/Bremen), an artist living in Brussels and whose works takes place on stages, on paper, online and also in the public space and whose his trajectory moves between representative and interactive works, pieces and interventions, between conceptual work and actions.
During this talk, we'll talk more specifically about his most popular project that connects art and public space, in the city of brussels but also beyond : "Belgian solutions" (pictures, social media & printed books). After that, we'll also talk about two other projects : "What People Say" (installation at Beursschouwburg) and "Commission Nieuwland" (long-term project in the Marolles).
David Helbich (1973, Berlin/Bremen) is an artist who has been living and working in Brussels since 2002. He studied composition in Amsterdam and Freiburg.
