L'ISAC et La Bellone vous convient à « The Sound of Movement », un série de rendez-vous publics avec des artistes internationaux dans le cadre de leur programme conjoint de formation.

Chaque artiste est invité·e à partager avec le public une sélection de cinq matériels sonores (rythmes, paysages sonores, captations de conversations, bruits ou chansons) qui ouvrent chaque fois une perspective sur leurs pratiques artistiques.

La spécificité de ces rencontres est ainsi une mise en écoute des parcours des artistes invité·e·s, pour ouvrir la pratique du mouvement à travers le prisme du sonore.

Ce 3 avril 2019 à 18h00, ISAC et La Bellone accueilleront la chorégraphe hongroise Eszter Salamon à La Bellone.

Eszter Salamon est chorégraphe et performeuse. Depuis 2001, elle crée des solos et des pièces de groupe. Son travail est régulièrement présenté dans le monde entier et elle est aussi fréquemment invitée à intervenir dans des musées. Eszter Salamon utilise la chorégraphie comme une pratique étendue, comprise comme une machine à manoeuvrer entre différents médias : vidéo, son, musique, texte, voix, mouvement et actions corporelles.

Dans ses premières œuvres, l’activation de l'expérience cognitive interroge la perception visuelle, la sensation et la kinesthésie.
Depuis 2005, son intérêt pour le documentaire et l’autobiographie féminine ont abouti à une multiplicité de formats, tels qu’une conférence dansée, une vidéochorégraphie ou un monodrame. Ses recherches sur la spéculation et la fiction l’ont amenée à créer Tales of the bodiless, un opéra futuriste sans interprète, qui imaginait les modes d’existence possibles après la disparition des humains. Dernièrement, elle a commencé une série de pièces explorant à la fois la notion de monument et la pratique d'une réécriture de l'Histoire.

ISAC and La Bellone invite you to «The Sound of Movement », a series of public rendezvous with international artists in the frame of their joint educational programme.

Each artist is invited to share with the public a selection of five sound materials (rhythms, soundscapes, conversations, sounds or songs) that open up every a perspective on their artistic practices.

The specificity of these meetings is thus listening to the itineraries of the invited artists, to open the practice of movement through sound.

On April 3rd, 2019  at 6pm, ISAC and La Bellone will welcome the Hungarian choreographer Eszter Salamon at La Bellone.

Eszter Salamon is a choreographer and performer. Since 2001 she has been creating solos and group pieces. Her work is presented internationally and she is also frequently invited to work in museums. Eszter Salamon uses choreography as an extended practice, understood as a machine to maneuver between different media: video, sound, music, text, voice, movement and body actions.

In her early works, activation of the cognitive experience questions visual perception, sensation, and kinesthesia. Since 2005, her interest in documentary and female autobiography has resulted in a multiplicity of formats, such as a dance conference, a video-choreography or a monodrama. Her research on speculation and fiction led her to create Tales of the bodiless, a futuristic, uninterpreted opera that imagined possible ways of life after the disappearance of humans. Recently, Eszter Salamon began a series of plays exploring both the concept of monument and the practice of a rewriting of history.

Eszter Salamon lives in Berlin and Paris.
