Imaginary Machines - a workshop on social imaginaries for professionals (artists of performing and visual arts, dramaturges, performance theorists etc.) and non-professional audience (people with no art background interested in the arts).

In the frame of her three-year-long artistic research on social imaginaries, the performance maker and researcher Danae Theodoridou invites participants in a workshop that aims to challenge our capacity to imagine our social coexistence and the ideas that underlie our expectations in relation to it. Through a series of performative tasks that involve thinking, speaking, writing and making, the workshop attempts to shift established modes of thinking and explore processes that might be able to contribute to the emergence of social and political alternatives.

Application process : the workshop is offered free of charge. Early booking is recommended due to limited capacity (8-12 people max).
To apply please send an email including your name, short bio (150 words) and a short paragraph explaining why you are interested to participate in the workshop (max 300 words) to : accueil@bellone.be by Tuesday 17th October 2017.
