Georges MONY (B)
( - 1986, Bruxelles)
Comédien et metteur en scène belge.
Enseigné en histoire de l'art pendant de nombreuses années, il a fait ses débuts professionnels au Théâtre du Parc en 1934 dans " Panurge " de Paul Demasy. Il a connu les grands moments de l'avant-garde belge en participant aux créations de Pantagleize et Barrabas de Ghelderode. Après guerrre, il a été pensionnaire du Vaudeville pendant cinq ans et demi puis du Rideau de Bruxelles dès ses débuts et durant 22 ans. En 1961, il a pris la direction du Théâtre du Vaudeville. Des problèmes de santé l'ont tenu éloigné du monde théâtral durant sa dernière décennie. Il est décédé à Bruxelles à l'âge de 72 ans.
