Comédien belge.

Il est un des membres fondateurs de la coopérative d'acteurs Théâtre en Liberté, fondée en 1992 et il a participé à la plupart des réalisations de cette troupe.

Au fil d'une soixantaine de rôles, il a aussi joué sous la direction d'Adrian Brine au Rideau de Bruxelles, de Richard Lewis et de Roland Mahauden au Poche, de Philippe van Kessel au Théâtre National, de Raymond Avenière et de Roumen Tchakarov au Parc, de Jean-Michel d'Hoop avec la Compagnie Point Zéro, de Christine Delmotte avec Biloxi 48, etc.

En vingt ans de carrière de comédien, il a su prouver la diversité grandissante de sa palette, mouvement qui culmine sans conteste avec sa prise de rôle dans Six personnages en quête d'auteur de Luigi Pirandello, dans la mise en scène de Daniel Scahaise Pour ce rôle, Jaoued Deggouj avait été nominé parmi les meilleurs comédiens aux Prix de la Critique.

Il a également joué quelques rôles au cinéma notamment dans "L'Autre moitié", réalisation belgo-helvétique de Rolando Colla.
