Il entre à la Comédie-Française le 1er juillet 1998 et en devient Sociétaire le 1er janvier 2009.
Formation
- Atelier Blanche Salan (1986).
- École national supérieure des arts et technique du théâtre (1982-1985).
- Cours Jean Périmony (1980-1982) .
Prix et distinctions
- Prix Jean Marais pour l'interprétation de d'Artagnan, les Trois mousquetaires, Alexandre Dumas (1991).
Au cinéma
Il joue dans différents courts-métrages, dont Memento de Jean-Max Peteau (1992), ayant reçu le grand prix d’Avoriaz et le prix du public de Clermont-Ferrand en 1993. Il tourne dans le premier long-métrage de Guillaume Georget Chambre obscure en 2009
À la télévision
Il a joué dans le téléfilm "Une journée au Luxembourg" réalisé par Jean Baronnet pour Arte (1994).
