Gérald WAUTHIA (B)

Comédien belge.
Issu du Conservatoire de Bruxelles, Gérald Wauthia promenait sa silhouette imposante et son talent sur les scènes belges depuis 15 ans. On le voyait régulièrement à l'XL-Théâtre du Grand-Midi, au Festival Bruxellons, dans les ruines de l'Abbaye de Villers-La-Ville mais aussi à l'occasion dans des lieux plus confidentiels comme le ZUT ou Le Cuberdon.
Pilier du Théâtre du Parc, il y a joué entre autres dans " Le mystère de Sherlock Holmes", "Le Capitaine Fracasse", ou encore " Le Tour du Monde en 80 jours", qu'il s'apprêtait à reprendre durant la saison 2014-2015. Il a été emporté par une crise cardiaque à 37 ans.
Formation
- Premier prix en déclamation et en art dramatique du Conservatoire de Bruxelles (2000).
Prix et distinctions
- Nominé aux Magritte 2014 pour le court-métrage "Bowling Killers" de Sébastien Petit dans lequel il partageait l’affiche avec Steve Driesen.
- Prix du Théâtre, meilleur espoir masculin (2005).
Au cinéma
Il a joué dans lke court-métrage "Bizness" de Manu Coeman.
