Michel CARCAN (B)
Comédien, mime, metteur en scène et auteur belge.
Il a d'abord exercé ses talents de comédien et de mime en Belgique mais aussi en France, Italie, Tchécoslovaquie, Russie, Lituanie...
En 1986, il rencontre Bruce Ellison avec qui il fonde le Théâtre de la Mandragore dont ils assurent la direction.
Ensemble, ils créent le mimodrame " L'Etrange Mister Knight " qui tourne sur les scènes du monde entier pendant cinq ans.
Ce spectacle lui donne l'envie de prolonger l'aventure avec son partenaire Othmane Moumen. Ensemble ils forment les Zinneke Kabuki et créent « Doffice » , un spectacle par le geste explorant les différentes formes et codes de jeux.
Il est aussi auteur et acteur de cinéma et de télévision.
Formation
- Premier Prix d'Art Dramatique au Conservatoire de Bruxelles (1980).
- Premier Prix de Déclamation au Conservatoire de Bruxelles (1981).
- Ecoles de pantomime de M.Marceau et d’ E.Decroux.
Au cinéma
il a fait une apparition dans "Le Couperet" de Costa Gavras avec José Garcia (2004) .
