Comédien belge.

Ancien coureur de fond, Robert Roanne a d'abord couru sous son vrai nom, Robert Beysens, avant de choisir le pseudonyme de Georges Claude. C'est sous ce nom qu'il fait ses premières figurations. Après avoir suivi les cours de Marcelle Dambremont au Théâtre aux Galeries, il a travaillé quelque temps dans l'immobilier puis décidé de se consacrer exclusivement au théâtre sous le nom de Robert Roanne.

Il a réalisé pratiquement toute sa carrière au sein de la Compagnie des Galeries. Durant cinquante ans, il a joué une centaines de rôles dans les registres les plus variés. Il a notamment interprété de façon mémorable M. Coppenolle dans "Bossemans et Coppenolle et M. Meulemeester dans le "Mariage de mademoiselle Beulemans ".
